The Alley

All of the roosters crowed around 4 am and I couldn't sleep, so I would get up early and take photographs.  The first morning I got up and drew my Haitian Orchid images. Then my ink spilled, so I just photographed from the rooftop of hotel Mimika.

More Voodoo

Altar attached to the back of the house.  You can see how significant Voodoo is to those who practice.  The house is the same size as the altar and shrine.

Christianity and Voodoo

You can see how close the voodoo temple and the Christian church are in this image.  The church is the 4 white pillars and the brick building is the temple.

Old Truck Series: Looking Glass

The window had been cracked and filled, leaving a gorgeous and fascinating texture.
I love the little bubbles.

Old Truck Series: Fort

A little for that was set up a ways away from the truck.
It seemed to be in better shape than the truck.

Old Truck Series: Texture Drawing

The texture details of this truck were absolutely gorgeous.
I love how this looks like an abstract drawing or painting of some sort.
There is also an element of graffiti style.

Old Truck Series

This series of photographs was taken while in WA state over the summer.  I found this old abandoned (or a work truck) truck on the side of the road and decided to photograph it.

I love working with poster design and graffiti.
This photo ties in well with some of my artwork.
