View from the Andy Goldsworthy's Trail in New Mexico

Hey guys!!! I am back.  I figured I would start off with some photographs from my trip to Santa Fe, earlier this month.  I should be going strong for at least 3 months, so be sure o check back regularly.

Andy Goldsworthy created this trail at the Klein's art collection and works there in the summers.  It was pretty neat to walk to trail and see the wonderful collection of Contemporary Minimalist artwork.

Mount Rainer

This view was on our way home. The forests and mountains in WA are gorgeous. It was neat to be in the mountains some this summer. I felt like I was home. I am curious to see what the area would look like in the fall. The trees in this area are deciduous conifers. They change to all the gorgeous colors in Boulder Canyon. I didn’t know that such a tree existed.

The fogginess is a little frustrating but I think it is what makes WA have such great for sunsets.

This image may need to be turned into an illustration as well.

Mount Rainer National Park

The clouds wouldn’t move from on top of the mountain. This was a view from Chinook Pass in Mt Rainer National Park.

Gas Station

This picture was taken the day that we were taken for the plane ride. This is the gas station at the Joseph, Oregon airport.

I like the mountain in the background contrasted with the machinery in the foreground. The contrast between mechanical objects and nature is fascinating.

I am not sure if I am a fan of the composition. It seems a bit crowded on the left. The circular container looking part should either be father to the right or cut off.

Well maybe next time.

Mountains

I love, love, love mountains. I love hiking around them, climbing them, and looking at them. It was crazy to be at the same level as their peaks, and not be on the actual mountain. This photograph is gorgeous but I think that can be attributed to the fact that it would be hard to take a bad photograph of these mountains.
